Iran is at a bad time. The Revolution of the Ayatollahs is saturated and perhaps it is time for profound change in their institutions if they want to be at the forefront and not be considered by the rest of the world as a threat.
The popular revolt motivated by electoral fraud aroused deep sensitivity of the Iranians. They crave freedom and know that in the current situation, it is very difficult to achieve.
What remains of the Iranian revolution that overthrew the authoritarian regime of the Shah of Persia?
Why a dictatorship was changed to another and it seems that if not resolved soon the outbreak of a new revolution could ignite the area.
