begin to define the first model, which I perceive to be defined so that an SME can implement e-commerce platform. Business model.
During the late 90's many companies, primarily in the United States decided to implement e-commerce systems as an activity entrepreneurship, however, many efforts were closed because the focus at that time was to invest in technology purely neglecting the business.
For 2000, the vision changed. Many companies decided to invest further resources to implement e-commerce platforms, the difference from the previous experience was that this time the factor was not essential technology rather it was to have a broad knowledge of business (x), this is achieved through a business model.
business model is a set of planned activities designed to identify perceived benefits sales in a [1]. One company described its business model from a business plan. Some of the definitions given by several authors, for a business plan are:
"A business plan is essential when undertaking any enterprise. This places all the ideas and research in an organized report that serves to explain the nature of the business "[2].
"It is the administrative and financial plan for a new company and used for the successful operation of a business alliance. Explains specifically how it will operate a business and the details about how to capitalize, manage and advertise a business "[3].
As you can see, is very important to draft the business plan prior to initiating any trade, and of course, can also be written when the company is already established. In this case, the business plan will serve to redefine objectives, goals and needs, and to request additional loans or investments for expansion and / or special projects [4]. In the next section will describe the basic components is to keep a business plan, this according to the literature I've found during the development of this work.
